History

DMB and Sons is a family owned company. It really began in the mid 1980's when it was involved in the construction of several agricultural facilities near Edmonton, Alberta. In 1999 DMB and Sons Inc. relocated to Grande Prairie and we are now involved in residential, commercial and industrial construction. Over the years DMB and Sons Inc. has evolved into a construction and project management firm focused mainly on larger commercial and industrial projects.

In 2006 we opened up a branch office in Colorado to meet the needs of the regions growing industries which are very similar to those of Grande Prairie’s.

The Concrete People, a division of DMB and Sons Inc. is a concrete placing & forming division which meets all the concrete need of local contractors as well as our own. Due to the high demand for skilled laborers especially in the concrete forming industry, we has succeeded in managing all of their own concrete work. The Concrete People have built many concrete structures. Residential basements, weigh scales, and commercial parkades are just a few of the many jobs completed by The Concrete People. Our involvement in this industry has created many relationships with other companies with the same interests.

As the local economy grew, so did DMB and Sons. It now continues to serve the Peace Region as a construction management & design-build company for projects of various sizes ranging from $500,000 and up to $20,000,000. Our management team consists of experienced individuals all of which have extensive experience in commercial and industrial construction. Our staff also includes full-time safety personnel who are constantly & consistently monitoring all of our projects ensuring that safety is our No. 1 Priority. We hold our partners in construction to the highest standards of safety. This adherence to our standards ensures that everyone will go home to their family’s everyday.
